The DRx is a disposable quantitative diagnostic device for patient blood testing. The challenge was to develop a usable product with an incredibly low cost per unit. Part count was kept low as was the complexity of assembly. The final design displays instructions and test results, which automatically scroll through at a pace comfortable to health professionals and patients who may need to record information.
