| The
Atlast Blood Glucose Monitoring Systems requires just a speck of
blood, which can mean a less painful test, even on your fingers.
And you can test on your arm where there are fewer nerve endings.
The
sample collector comprises of a capillary tube on a test strip for
picking up the sample fluid and transferring it by capillary action
to the test matrix on the test strip. The capillary tube enables
the use of a predetermined volume of sample fluid and enables the
patient to assure that the required volume of test fluid has been
transferred into the test device. The device enables a diabetic
to obtain a very small blood sample on any part of the body, without
having to obtain a drop size sample on a finger tip. The device
can measure a 3 μL blood sample size drawn from the skin surface
by the tip of the capillary tube.
The Atlast
Blood Glucose Monitoring Systems combined both the monitor and integral
lancing device.
